Design Concept

Topic: A designer project of creating fashion pieces from recyclable materials.

Purpose: Full use of the recycling energy and converting it into а plastic aesthetic impact to raise high environmental responsibility (with included mechanism)

Inspiration: Marine life

Sketch exploration and analysis:

Construction  and assembly:

• Aluminum basis;
• 2x ball bearings inserted inside flanges;
• 12x thread pins (to be assembled with 12 polyamide tubes with thread on the internal edge);
• Bushing to keep flanges at distance;
• Mechanism is assembled with a wooden basis that follow the spine curve on the back;
• Construction net is used to create funnel-shaped modules to assemble with polyamide tubes;
• The piece is worn together with a hand-made bra with glues marine shells and accessories by choice.
