Fashion Design from recyclable materials

Design Concept

Topic: A designer project of creating fashion pieces from recyclable materials, in particular pharmaceutical plastic waste.

Purpose: The project serves to prove the idea that fashion design can be seen as a means of recycling. On the 8^th of May 2012 a fashion show was held to support recycling and prove the role of engineering into fashion design. The slogan of the show was “Plastic Analogies – the Four Elements of Life”. All the designs in the project are nature element – inspired. All the recyclable materials are provided by “Balkanpharma” – a global pharmaceutical company.
